Lingerie shower invitation

Posted by llbdesigns on Jul 13, 2011 in Graphic design, Invitations | 0 comments

Ah, the lingerie shower. There is nothing like planning a party that has to somehow combine class and underwear to challenge even the most capable of hostesses. Fortunately it is possible and these little invitations are a great start. Combining black with shades of pink creates a look that is sophisticated but not too racy, while flirty typography and girly details such as polka dots and bows add a touch of whimsical fun.

Attainable Growth logos

Posted by llbdesigns on May 17, 2011 in Graphic design, Branding | 0 comments

This local trainer in Austin, TX requested a logo and business cards for his at-home personal training company, Attainable Growth. The client envisioned silhouettes of both a man and a woman in a simple, eye-catching black and white color palette. Graphics for a business that focuses on body image is pretty tricky, and it is important that the silhouettes convey just the right blend of sexiness (but not too sexy!), confidence (but not cocky!) and fitness (but not overdeveloped!). The result is this poised pair as well as a combination of...

Developing People workbook

The Devon team recently put together a training program on Teaching and Developing People, complete with a workbook and coordinating PowerPoint presentation designed by LLB Designs. The Devon color palette drives the vibrant look while attractive photos and playful icons add additional visual interest. Custom tables and diagrams are a great way to keep a lot of information organized and easy to read, and white space allows plenty of room for filling in the blanks and other notes as employees participate in the sessions.

Fiesta invitations

Posted by llbdesigns on Apr 25, 2011 in Graphic design, Invitations | 0 comments

This fiesta engagement party called for some fun, colorful invitations that didn’t resort to cliche sombrero and pinata clip art. Bright primary colors and a stylish floral design set the tone for the party and the cute square shape framed the artwork. The bride and groom are dog lovers, so a small, subtle silhouette of their super cute pups was incorporated onto the back of the invitation. This gave it that little bit of personalization without overshadowing the fiesta concept. The best part about using a fun combination of classic...

Bridal luncheon invitation

Nothing is more fun than a full wedding weekend of parties and events. This lovely bride in Dallas, TX sent the guys off to tour the new Cowboys Stadium and gathered the girls together for manicures and pedicures followed by a bridal luncheon. The luncheon hostesses knew that the bride was a well-seasoned traveler and that the happy couple in fact got engaged while visiting Germany, so a travel theme was just the ticket. Pink and green invitations sported personalized passport stamps of places the bride has visited during her travels. Custom...

We at LLB Designs were thrilled to partner up with Allowance for Good on their logo and identity project. This new non-profit has a fantastic mission, “… to cultivate a culture of giving and to inspire a ripple of change among American youth to become the next generation of engaged global givers and citizens.” A big part of Founder and Executive Director Elizabeth Newton’s vision is the concept of a ripple of change, which is incorporated into the logo through a stylized ripple icon.
