Out of town events are always a fun excuse for guests to enjoy a little mini-vacation and try out some local fare. LLB Designs “Our favorite spots” cards are a great way to provide family and friends a list of nearby restaurants, stores and nightlife when they come to visit without having to play fulltime tour guide yourself. And out-of-towners always appreciate having a list of “insider” favorites, right?

 The Dallas version above was used in a wedding hotel gift bag and the San Francisco edition was passed out at a graduation party. They are a perfect, cost-effective way to add a personal touch to any important event including weddings, anniversary parties, birthday parties and graduation parties. At 3.75″ x 10″, they slip perfectly into a standard gift bag, and digital printing helps keep the printing costs down and allows for some flexibility with print quantities.

This neat couple from Houston, TX, had a small, intimate family wedding and then was kind enough to let LLB Designs create their wedding announcements to share the news with the rest of their extended family and friends. With fun, whimsical engagement photos and jaw-droppingly gorgeous wedding photos from Magnolia Photography there was plenty of great material to work with.

The result? A 5×7 gatefold with the couple’s smiling faces on the front cover. The inside features elegant photos from the ceremony and the back leaves us with a casual engagement shot and the couple’s “At home” information. We love that all of all of their family and friends get a peek inside the wedding and the bride commented that many of the recipients were honored to receive such a personal wedding announcement. This beautiful bride from Dallas, TX is planning a hill country wedding in Austin this spring, and she was sweet enough to let LLB Designs help with her save the dates. While her venue and dress are somewhat formal, it was important to her to set the tone of the event as relaxed and not too stuffy. She also came prepared with some gorgeous engagement photos that are a perfect blend of casual and chic. Thoughtful cropping and a sepia treatment worked together to bring the photo centerstage, and simple but pretty typography relayed the details in a subtle but graceful way. Congratulations to the lovely couple, and best wishes as you finalize the plans for what is sure to be a stunning hill country wedding!

A few months ago we showed off one couple’s baseball-inspired custom stamps on their wedding invitations, and we’re back with a bunch of other creative ways they put their monogram to work. The weekend of the (flat-out fabulous) wedding hotel guests were presented with a reusable tote bag stuffed with snacks, information on local attractions, comics and other good stuff. Later on at the actual wedding the beautiful programs featured the monogram front and center, as did the plethora napkins and hand towels.

But the biggest monogram hit was definitely the temporary tattoos. Yes, you read it right–they turned their monogram into temporary tattoos and guests had a grand ol’ time applying them to their hands, arms and even faces. Awesome. The monogram was such a fun and personal way to add some consistency to the different elements throughout the event without resorting to an over-used or cheesy theme. Simple, classy and stuffed with personality.
