Remember this sassy bride-to-be?  When it came time for all of the actual knot-tying to take place some of her nearest and dearest got together to throw her a bridal luncheon the morning of the big day. The dress code was deemed “flip flop casual”, and a request was put in for a “festive wildflowery” invitation. LLB Designs got on it and the result was this floral invite with happy colors and scripty fonts for a look and feel that is casual and whimsical, but of course still appropriate for a wedding day event. Congrats, again, to the new Mr. and Mrs.!

A couple of years ago we at LLB Designs got to work on this couple’s colorful fiesta shower invitations, and just a year or so ago wrapped up their change-of-address cards when they bought a new home.  So it probably should come as no surprise that next up is a baby shower invitation! The adorable hostesses planning the shindig wanted to play off of the couple’s illustration from their fiesta wedding shower, and also tie in the Texas-chic theme of a backyard BBQ. Awesome.

Gender-neutral colors, a western font, and an updated illustration of the happy couple (including any new baby bumps and Schnauzers) all came together for a cute and one-of-a-kind look. Little insert cards gave guests the opportunity to offer advice to the future parents, adding an even more personalized touch to the event. At the party guests enjoyed coordinating cups featuring a one-color version of the custom illustration. These doubled as a great little favor for everyone to take home, and because they’re reusable they had the added eco-friendly benefit of replacing disposable cups that would have otherwise been tossed after the party. Matching brown napkins tied it all together and we prove once again it’s the details that make an event really stand out.  Well done, hostesses, and congrats again to the parents-to-be!

This lucky friend got to throw a unique and special co-ed baby shower for her favorite couple: A reveal party!  The expecting parents had their doctor write down the gender of their new baby and seal it up in an envelope, to be opened at the party surrounded by friends and family. Fun, no?

The hostess with the mostess wanted lots of pink and blue and a hip, funky feel for the invitations. LLB Designs got to work and put together some fun fonts, minimalistic illustrations and lots of question marks to emphasize the evening’s main event.

Oh, and by the way, it’s a girl!

Matching insert cards with hotel and travel information added an extra little bit of organization and class.
