A couple of years ago we at LLB Designs got to work on this couple’s colorful fiesta shower invitations, and just a year or so ago wrapped up their change-of-address cards when they bought a new home.  So it probably should come as no surprise that next up is a baby shower invitation! The adorable hostesses planning the shindig wanted to play off of the couple’s illustration from their fiesta wedding shower, and also tie in the Texas-chic theme of a backyard BBQ. Awesome.

Gender-neutral colors, a western font, and an updated illustration of the happy couple (including any new baby bumps and Schnauzers) all came together for a cute and one-of-a-kind look. Little insert cards gave guests the opportunity to offer advice to the future parents, adding an even more personalized touch to the event. At the party guests enjoyed coordinating cups featuring a one-color version of the custom illustration. These doubled as a great little favor for everyone to take home, and because they’re reusable they had the added eco-friendly benefit of replacing disposable cups that would have otherwise been tossed after the party. Matching brown napkins tied it all together and we prove once again it’s the details that make an event really stand out.  Well done, hostesses, and congrats again to the parents-to-be!

This colorful invitation was created for a fiesta-themed couples shower in Dallas, Texas, when only a co-ed party involving plenty of margaritas would do.  The bride and groom are such fun people that creating an invitation around their fun-loving personality was definitely a must.  A custom illustration of the stylish couple, along with their salt ‘n peppa schnauzer Gracie decked out the invites and set the tone for a great evening out with friends, food, and more than a little fun. Ole!

Between the summer heat in Austin, Texas and the gorgeous, beaming bride this was one HOT couples shower!

A lemon and lime color pallet was a refreshing addition to a not-to-be-missed soiree. The invitations themselves featured a custom illustration of the bride and groom, and because the venue was a little tricky to find, coordinating maps were included–an extra detail that made finding the place simple for guests. Custom drink menus featuring catchy options such as “Bachelor’s Brew” and “Love Potion from the Vine” let the everyone know that they were in for a good time. And finally, boxes of lemon candy party favors with custom “Pucker up!” inserts added a little sass to one sweet celebration.

Personality is such an important part of any brand, and this is particularly true for young companies that need to get a lot of mileage from everything they do. The logo, fonts and colors should all be created to portray the company’s voice, and then used consistently throughout collateral to establish a firm and professional identity around the company name. This will give the brand, and the company itself, a personality all of its own.
